Who we are
Quick-Shift (“we”) operates this platform and is the data controller for the personal data described here, processed in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, password (stored hashed).
- Profile details: for Workers, skills, experience, availability and location; for Employers, business details and location.
- Activity: shifts, applications, messages, reviews and payments.
- Technical data: log data needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace — matching Workers with shifts, enabling applications and messaging, processing platform fees and keeping the service secure. We rely on performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running a trustworthy platform.
Who we share it with
Relevant profile information is shown to the other side of a shift (for example, an Employer sees applicants' profiles). Open shift listings (business name, shift title and description, pay, date, hours, town and postcode district) are published on our public jobs pages and may appear in search engines such as Google; the street address is only shared with the accepted Worker. We use service providers for hosting, payments and email who process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data and object to certain processing. Email admin@quick-shift.co.uk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Retention & contact
We keep data for as long as your account is active and as required by law thereafter. If you sign up but never confirm your email address, and haven't used the account, we delete it after 14 days. For any privacy question, email admin@quick-shift.co.uk.
